December 21, 2016 - Has potential for showing the goods of the vintage, but only if you hold for at least three (750mL) to five (1.5L) years.

February 24, 2016 - Leisurely consumed over 3 hours from a half bottle. Fresh, still primary red fruit at first, notably cherry with cedar; some black fruits noted later in the evening. A medium weight body, still quite dry. Drying tannins still present on the finish, with cigar tobacco on the palate. One could still easily wait 4-5 years on the next bottle.

December 5, 2015 - This is gross; its completely marred by new oak. No gravel, no fruit, just oak. Its too bad because this had really nice acids underneath what little of the fruit wasn’t being drowned out by oak.

September 30, 2013 - A bit more closed this time, sweet cherry on the nose, nicely balanced and generous fruit and acidity, mild tannins, not especially memorable. Probably now is the time to wait on this vintage, maybe 4-5 years.

June 12, 2013 - Quite soft and light-medium body, could do with more body & structure, modest reasonably integrated tannins at this point but dark chocolate, currant, mocha, red fruit( e.g., cherry) flavors are nice with modest, but enjoyable finish. A little alcohol nose but that seems to fade with air time and may drop out with another year in in the bottle. Nice wine for the price point, but lacks complexity of more serious 2009s
