September 10, 2017 - Drinking beautifully. Allowed to aerate gently in the glass...nice black pepper mid-note, plum (subtle) with red licorice on the nose.

September 4, 2017 - Ann and I both enjoyed a glass of this, despite it's size and our preferences now. Hard to drink much more though. I preferred the 2010 Senejac that followed this.

April 27, 2017 - Opened in bottle for a couple hours and in reality needs several more years or a 5 hour decant. Starting to show some nice stewed mature notes but remained dominated by dusty tannin and sharp acidity. Sweet palate of raspberry liqueur, chocolate cherries, and sweet tobacco. Ideally needs 5 more years as this is barely middle aged. Upside potential here.

Second Day- pumped overnight and was unfortunately dominated by soy sauce and prune. Would give this 88-90 day 2.

March 26, 2017 - Score 92 (excitement) - 93 (quality/craftsmanship) - more about well made and mature, less about fireworks. Much improvement since 2 yrs ago. Will still benefit from more time and while smooth still has noticeable tannin. Tasty to drink now and predict considerably better as it ages.
