May 10, 2016 - Tasted next to 2007 Smith Haut Lafitte blanc. On the nose more grassy and herbal and less waxy in comparison, but still quite ripe and rich. Spicy with hints of marzipan. On the palate very well balanced, a little less intense and powerful with a bit more nuance. Ripe fruit, good acidity; long, mineral finish. Drink or keep. 92-94

April 1, 2016 - Worthy of my 40th birthday! Absolute treat. A little one-dimensional for first 1-2 hours after opening, but really opening up after that, just getting progressively better and better. Huge upside for this wine, I don't think I'll open another one for at least 3 years!

February 24, 2016 - Very, very good. Give it a little time to open up. Complex aroma of flavors with a wonderful nose. This can certainly age more and I believe well beyond the 2020 time frame showing on CT.

February 13, 2016 - Enjoyed from a half bottle at Valentines Day dinner at Charlie Palmer with the seafood tower. Popped and poured. This aromas were earthy but clean like a freshly planted garden in the sprint. The palate showed sour citrus fruit and minerals with a similar clean and precise style. This showed well and has tons of life left.

December 9, 2015 - Andrew and Howard's birthday dinner: An attractive Graves nose of grapefruit and other citrus. Not overly herbaceous but with notes of dried herbs and some garrigue. On palate, I thought the wine older than six years (2005?). However, showing 2009 richness and opulence. Medium weight. Flavours of lemons, stonefruit, minerals and fresh herbs. Good length. Finishes dry on good acidity. Give it 3-5 years in the cellar.
