March 16, 2017 - I hope that this improves on day 3. Day #3! For the first 2 days, the wine had a burnt tasting with not much fruit. It was perfectly drinkable, but hasn't age that well. Hopefully, more to come.

December 31, 2016 - Damn, this is good! Big, bold black fruits up front with a great structure of tar and earth throughout. Firm tannins, long finish, great wine!

May 13, 2016 - PnP at a restaurant. No detailed notes. Spectacular wine

April 24, 2016 - 94+ at Gary and Judy's: Decanted 4 hours. Drank a good-sized glass over an hour. This cab is even bigger than I remember it. Amped up, tons of fruit, lots of alcohol and wood. A bruiser.

November 24, 2015 - After a rough day unpacking wine and putting bottles in cellar slots -- talk about a 1% problem -- I decided to treat my self. Wow!!

Splash decanted and drank over next 3 hours. Moderate, fine sediment. Nearly opaque ruby-red with margins hinting of future orange. Initially, integrated red and dark berries; smooth and pleasant. As time went on -- and as food entered the picture -- the spice came out. At 3 hours, the front is tart, spicy plumb with licorice and raspberry overtones. Still medium-full body. Finish is very long and ever-changing.

    A spectacular wine.
