Color: garnet red with signs of aging on the rim
Nose: God I love the nose on the Viader! Violet-like perfume with strong notes of candied dates, dried blackberry bramble and cassis.
Taste: Age has rewarded this wine very well. Dried fruits of blackberry bramble, leather, mature herbs, chocolate, espresso, smoke & earth.
At 15.1% , the body is noticeable but never overpowering or hot. High acid with mellow yet still drying tannins.
Overall, this is a stunning wine. Drink these 08s now until 2030 -

April 11, 2023 - Coravined. Deep magenta color. Strawberry , fig, pomegranate, and subtle minerality. Super smooth, dry palate. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish. 69% CS and 31% CF.

October 24, 2020 - Black cherry, mocha, raisin, violet, leather, baking spice aromas, black fruit, vanilla, cocoa, flavors. Was a bit tight in beginning but opened up and was delicious and smooth.
