February 6, 2011 - Color: dark red for a rose. Nose: Stawberry with a touch of rhubarb, watermelon. Taste: Watermelon with strawberry. Nice depth of flavor and length for reasonably priced Tavel. This is red wine drinker's rose. Good QPR for $15.

June 26, 2010 - Good reliable summer rose. Nice example of the aoc.

May 31, 2009 - Have always liked this nice rep. of Rhone roses...complex, earthy with some garrigue. Wish it was a tad cheaper, but so much more interesting then most New World examples. Will keep buying this until it becomes too pricey.

February 20, 2009 - Really really nice representation of the Rhone's great rose. Pricier then typical roses, though not unreasonable. Very elegant, dry, but with layers of strawberry and red currant. Big complex aroma. Very nice with spicy steamed mussels and scallop quenelles in blood orange sauce. Will buy again.
