Good round palate with decent weight to the wine. Rich but at the same time balanced. The oak was evident but in such a young wine, surprisingly integrated that it wasnt a distraction. The finish was intense with a hint of heat. This wine is plain good drinking so dont look for complexity. The Stonier Chardonnay is good but at the same price point, I find a better wine in Voyager Estate Chardonnay or if one is looking for a better specimen of white Burgundy, the Cape Mentelle!

  The palate has a balanced structure with well handled acidity and oak integration. In terms of fruit there is nectarine and peach that gains subtle spice and complexity, the finish has good persistence with stone fruits lingering, a good early drinking example of Stonier Chardonnay
