December 25, 2009 - Pre-Christmas lunch aperitif, this had a sweet and unctuous nose, strong attack, bursting with grapefruit and gooseberry on the mid-palate. Plenty acid-enough for a Sec, this had a deep golden colour and continued to open up progressively throughout the afternoon and was still very lively when we returned to the last glass with a film in the evening. Thoroughly satisfying.

March 19, 2006 - Goldish yellow, nose is apples/wax/flowery with a slight oxidative note which, together with the colour made me wnder whether this was ever so slightly oxidised. Palate was quite weighty with not much acid for a Sec. Even with the slightly oxidised character this was a delicious drink just lacking a bit of complexity and acid. Very good.
