November 6, 2012 - Some sois bois, touch musty on the nose but the palate is fresh and lovely - it lasted quite nicely before gracefully fading.

November 3, 2011 - Bought at the estate and stored in a controlled climate since then (14°C). Completely oxidised. Huge dissappointment.
February 25, 2010 - Honeysuckle and seashells (in a retirement community). Proof that Chablis ages well!
February 18, 2010 - shrooms, honeysuckle, tangy finish. old but lovely

(Domaine de la Maladiere Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos) Another toffee and butterscotch nose. Beautifully structured, smooth, integrated palate, with a nutty, biscuity buttery flavour profile, and some good fruit. Lovely finish and length. A wine at peak - it makes the Premier Cru look positively rustic.
