April 10, 2012 - a tad green and bitter at bottle open but this mellows out after about 2 hours. nice depth of fruit. liked this better than the first bottle. 89

July 23, 2011 - Day two, wine is much better. Tart cherry, toasty nose. Black ink color. the wine is higher in alcohol which is a bit of a detriment. the fruit is good, this is good Syrah. Nice, strong finish. some tart blueberry on the finish.

October 3, 2010 - When first opened, was hallow and inexpressive. After 1.5 days: On the nose, cherries and blueberries that go on for days. Big fruit. Cherry liquor, vanilla. Minerally and acidic. Crushed stones, raspberry, meat/fat, white pepper, olive/vinegar. Expressive all the way through.
