January 12, 2014 - Quick decant, popped back in bottle to go to friend's house. Began drinking 45 minutes later. High abv and you noticed; not out of balance, but a bit blowsier than I'd like. Full of black fruit, ripe tannins, big-bodied. (There's a cream-soda thing buried in here, too, oddly -- some called it vanilla cream, and others said coconut (!) cream.) Plenty of life yet in this, but I don't see it deepening much. I'd recommend a full decant and waiting 60-120 min before having a go at it.
