February 20, 2023 - A disappointment as the brown colour and bricking indicated a high degree of evolution with some oxidization though there was enough fruit left to salvage this bottle.

Elpaninaro Likes this wine:
December 11, 2021 - maturing red color, meat and cherry on the nose with subtle layers of spice and herbs, quiet in tone despite the complexity, on the palate a ripe and endearing bright cherry fruit, tantalizing layers of detailed herb and dried leaves that power the long dry finish, for all its lovely elements- over time this got a bit out of sorts and it feels as though the structure may be surpassing the fruit, that said Barolo is not an area of great expertise for me- and so I could be misreading the wine with my more Bordeaux-centric brain, my instinct is to suggest drinking this very soon before the structure overtakes the fruit, but if I am wrong- then this needs at least another decade and that seems quite a long wait, even for a well-regarded Barolo.
***, drink soon or hold a while and take a chance -

December 26, 2019 - Fruit a bit surmature. Palate still had big scratchy tannins. Drying finish. Disjoint tonight.

Nicephoras Does not like this wine:
December 20, 2019 - An odd bottle. After an hour long decant, the nose was quite nice, but the body absolutely disappeared after from the mid-palate other than a ghost of tomato, which is quite an odd note from a Barolo. Another hour of air just tired it. Past its prime or bottle issue?

February 7, 2015 - @Fred_Lund: This turns into a very sofisticated Barolo with air. Elegance, refinement and charm.
