September 19, 2014 - An expressive nose of Rose/ripen cherry, with soft tannins, medium body, and fruity palette. A DY wine, simple but pleasant, and very ready to drink now, perhaps not much later.

March 20, 2013 - Fair. I've had more interesting Dolcettos of greater stature (see Sandrone) and more fun Dolcettos of lesser stature (see lots of Dolcettos).

November 2, 2012 - Solid, if not spectacular. Cherry on nose and palate, slightly sour. Good pizza wine.

August 6, 2012 - The nose needs air, after a while the cherries and almond cantuccini come through, cinnamon in the background. On the palate it's light bodied with dark cherry compote and a bit of barnyard chocolate tannins, on the finish raspberry lingers. The bottle was finished off too early, the barnyard component was subsiding already towards the end. Very nice wine, only 13% alc, it should be served at 18°C - the 27-28°C it had when served were quite a letdown but with cooling this improved a lot. Might be even more complex if it had been decanted long enough...

April 9, 2012 - smooth medium body, dark cherry fruit with a dose of bitterness; silky tannins make this good with food. Paired wonderfully with young goat at Easter
