July 24, 2019 - Day 1 - This wine seemed upon opening like it has turned into an old lady. Deep gold color with slight orangish edge. Lots of orange peel, madrization on the nose and palate initially. Opened up later (1+ hours) to reveal some of the peach, quince and lime that you'd expect. Some bright acid on the very slightly sweet finish. If you have any of this left - urge you to decant and drink up soonest!
Day 2 - Who'd have thought that oxidation helped this immensely! Gassed and refrigerated overnight. It has turned into a somewhat racy, alsatian-representative style with plenty of acidity to offset the stone fruit and citrus. Moral of the story - decant >2 hours prior to serving. 87-90 -

June 21, 2017 - Golden yellow. Light petrol on nose. Juicy apricot and peach flavors- this still possesses plenty of fruity qualities. This finishes with impressive levels of acidity- it needs to paired with food to be most enjoyable.

November 26, 2015 - Light yellow. Hints of smoky petrol on the nose. This bone dry riesling still reads as quite young- the minerality and acidity are only just becoming better integrated with the peach and apricot toned fruit.

July 29, 2015 - At an interesting stage. Very dry, with hints of petrol and apple. Mineral city. Citrusy, lengthy. The interesting thing is the notion of richness, almost a caramel note I picked up at first. But mostly dry and lean and citrus.
