May 18, 2023 - Bought from Louis Kapcsandy Jr at Redmond Fine Wines. Unfortunately opened and it was corked.

July 14, 2021 - 30 minute slow ox. Black currant, Christmas cake, mocha, licorice, tobacco weed come through. The wine is mature, layered, with well integrated tannins. Relatively open knit today it doesn’t show any heat or excess alcohol. Long satisfying palate staining finish.

May 2, 2021 - Dark purple-garnet. Confectionary strawberry and raspberry and powdered sugar on the nose; there is also an almond pastry note. Port-like sweet fruit with plenty of strawberry and some of the aforementioned almond pastry notes. Delicious but it is a bit more dessert-like than I would prefer .

December 13, 2020 - Restained and complex nose of cherry & cassis liquer, minerals. lead pencil.
Albeit very good concentration wine is light on its feet, medium body, full integration of tannins, acidity and cherry sweetness. Freshenss and vibrancy, long dry aftertaste.
Even experienced taster can be fooled as this smells and tastes as benchmark Bordeaux ( St. Julien or Graves?) from great vintage. Completely different style than typical cabernets from Napa. Anyway outstanding/great wine, my first wine made by Helen Turley.

February 8, 2020 - Opened about an hour before dinner; no decant. A youthful purple core, turning towards garnet at the rim. Notes of currants, blackberry, plum, roasted fennel and black truffle; a hint of cigar box. Medium bodied, with a velvety texture, great concentration; good grip and depth on the long finish. Seems to be fully mature; an impressive Napa Cabernet!
