January 4, 2017 - A year since I opened the last one, and not much has changed. This continues to be an unexciting wine - the nose being so-so at best and the palate, pretty much the same. However, when it was paired to some scallops with an Alton Brown recipe (sauce) that called for soy, garlic, chopped green onions, etc., this wine deftly picked apart all the flavors in the dish and turned them up a few notches. So, on its own, meh, with the right food, good>very good. Not sure I'd sit on these if I had any more - given my experiences with the three I've opened since release.

    Audozed 3 hours, served at 53F, non-blind.

    January 1, 2017 - Pleasant creamy minerality.

December 18, 2016 - Darker golden color, wet leaves nose, dead palate: that's amoré...or rather, PREMOX. I wish Burgundy could figure out a solution to this ongoing dilemma because it's exceedingly frustrating--especially when it's an aged bottle that is difficult/impossible to replace with the same provenance. Buy from reputable vendors that will rectify the flawed bottle, folks.

September 29, 2016 - Excellent. Perfectly balanced. I love the interplay of the creamy lees with the zippy citrus, green apple, and salinity. The finish is exceptionally intense and long.

September 18, 2016 - Helles Strohgelb, goldene Reflexe.
