April 13, 2020 - NOSE: M(+) intensity, wonderfully complex yet balanced - rich cassis, cassis syrup, black cherry, black cherry compote, violets, rich wet black earth and hints of baking spice, vanilla and french oak in the background. PALATE: M+ body, palate follows nose, cassis leads with M(+) acid on entry, black cherry and cherry skin follows reflecting M(+) tannin on the mid-palate, wraps with a long M++ finish and a touch of M+ alcohol (14% ABV). OVERALL: Incredibly well balanced Bordeaux blend from high-altitude (3K ft) vineyards, showing incredibly fresh & balanced for it's 15 year age. Glad I've got one more bottle to try in a few more years. Estimate in another 5-7 years it may be crossing into secondary territory. Enjoy now w/a decant (1hr+) or let it continue to develop!

May 7, 2015 - Decanted for 2 hours, could be 4-5 hours, still on the fruity side, alot of cassis and dark berries, cherries, powerful but not overdone, very good concentration but without being sirupy or porty. well balnaced fruit, acidity and alcohol, ripe tannins, at least 10 more years, I think drink too early but with alot of fun, long finish after some cigar, espreso, leather and spicy notes 94-96

March 7, 2014 - Confraria - Estiba Reservada (Restaurante Varanda): The second best ER in this tasting session. Excellent acidity and a rounded structure that will improve a lot in the future. Be patient.
