December 6, 2014 - Bright, medium yellow. Expansive nose showing faint oak, petrol, and floral notes, great complexity. A bit more muted on the palate, with almost sweet, oily fruit and oak. Nicely balanced save for a bit of persistent heat that thins the mouthfeel through the finish. Nice bottle. January 21, 2014 - Popped and poured. Ahh, there's my good friend. Still very fresh, delicious, orange, butterscotch. No rush to drink these.

December 7, 2013 - Such a fun wine to serve at a dinner party since it is unusual. Served in place of a sauv blanc at a cheese course. Well liked. Looks and smells like it will be sweet and hits palate with completely dry, floral and acidic presentation -- with depth because of age.

August 4, 2013 - Dark golden orange in the glass, honeyed, nutty aroma, some subtle pineapple and tropical fruit on the palate with the usual oxidized notes, and a seamless acidity that builds up to a sort of fever pitch on the finish, really a beautifully balanced wine and a joy to drink, not an easy wine to pair but my guess is that a good cheese course is what's called for.
