January 5, 2014 - Lovely fresh citrus/pineapple nose with a hint of lily-of-the-valley and sweet pine. In the mouth - disappointing; thin, not mouthfilling, minerally, flint and gunpowder sulphur. Lacks body and a good finish. Perhaps with the right food that initial, slightly acid, attack would work for greasy rich food. It will not improve with any further ageing.

March 9, 2013 - Hints of peach and melon, good acidity, quite a decent finish. Somewhat similar to mature burgundy? Don't think this will improve, but decent drinking now.

April 11, 2011 - A distinctively different white with the marsanne especially to the fore with the rousanne filling out the middle a little. Somehow doesn't quite fulfil its potential, possibly a little age needed to fill out the middle and mellow a hint of immaturity. Won't be a great wine, but equal to any french chardonnay at this price.
