July 25, 2014 - As before, this held up over night with p[potting soil, tobacco, cherry and pronounced tannins that really made it interesting. The acidity and overall tannic structure were very well balanced and could easily hold up to a bigger, more robust meal. 92+

April 15, 2014 - Quite nice, this wine changed a lot after being opened about an hour - it went from somewhat closed and lean to more lush, with cherry and plum and even the tannin seemed more pronounced yet round. An undercurrent of earthiness throughout. Very enjoyable.

January 1, 2014 - This is quite quite good. Good acidity, tannins are smoothing out

November 10, 2013 - Had this again tonight with Sunday supper (pasta w/ meat sauce), and this is just a rocking Italian red. I think I was pretty bang on w/ my first review as far as descriptors, so I'll leave it at that. 91 might even be conservative. Yum!

October 15, 2013 - N: Wet potting soil, fresh herbs, red fruit. P: Wow, where do I start? Fresh soil, herbs, licorice, red and dark fruit, cedar. F: Long with great structure, balanced acidity and more of the former flavors. This was a screaming deal from WL. BTW, this bottle was completely clear and had no sediment at all. 93+-94.
