July 11, 2014 - 14.6% alcohol. Medium cherry color. Reduction lingering on the back end of the bouquet. A little bit creosote-like on the nose, too, with black cherry and raspberry in the background. In the mouth, somewhat nondescript. Frankly, disappointing. This hasn't filled out. It's just kind of disappeared. Could be in an awkward place, but this is highly unusual. B

June 19, 2014 - Spicy, racey on the palate, good finish. Still too young. Needs a couple more years

April 19, 2014 - Good, but previous bottles were even better

March 15, 2014 - This was big, disconnected, sharp, lots of heat on the back end. Exactly the kind of Pinot that I do not like. WIll give my last bottle as a gift.

February 13, 2014 - Popped and poured. This is a BIG pinot! Let it breathe in bottle for about three hours as we consumed the first glass. This really needs a lot of air time for the alcohol to blow off - if I had another of these, I would decant it. A well made wine, but not my style of Pinot.
