November 27, 2014 - PnP. Light transparent ruby in appearance. Typical Pinot nose of candied strawberries and cola, with just a hint of vanilla and spice. More earthy and fruity on the palate with cedar lingering on the finish. Good acidity.

Enjoyed in a Riedel Vinum Burgundy glass at 62F.

August 16, 2012 - The second bottle also showed heavy post-bottle refermentation. Disappointing.

July 23, 2012 - Shows serious post-bottle refermentation [http://winemakermag.com/stories/wizard/article/603-refermentation-malo-on-the-move-wine-wizard]. What a let down. (Appears to be tasty otherwise, with medium concentration, low to medium acidity, and notes of cedar -- especially on the nose -- and bing cherry. The 14.6% alcohol appears to be perfectly integrated, or maybe partly consumed by bacteria. Would have been an 88 pointer perhaps?)

July 30, 2011 - Vinturi'd: no menthol notes as mentioned by Richard below, but right on with cherry and baking spice notes with no heat on the finish.
