December 25, 2023 - Very nice, but did not live up to the hype. Kept the bottle for 10 years at ideal conditions. Perfect cork. Earthy Grenache nose with musky and floral undertones. Spicy on the palate. But faded a little over the three hours of drinking. Maybe I waited a couple years too long to drink it. I prefer the wines of the Rhône valley, which I put in a similar category to Priorato in terms of character.

December 30, 2020 - Drop dead gorgeous Grenache. Bright red fruits and cherries, did need some time to fully open up. Spicy nose.

December 29, 2020 - Mateo @ Home - just opening it I can smell it from the glass. So violet and floral. Rose, chocolate, fig. Tannins have melted away. Mouthfeel is so full and voluptuous. Touch of chalk. Just so delicious. Totally my wheelhouse. At peak. Drink up. Dark dark cherries

November 24, 2019 - I was missing the mineral thing....Dark , Dark fruit. Heavy in the nose. Had hoped for a more mineral wine , still very fine. And still ; I prefer younger wine from Spain with more surprice .

December 24, 2017 - Smoke, tobacco, ripe fig and blueberries. Blackberry, licorice, vanilla, hint of rosemary and firm structure. Great balance. Big finish. Over several hours this opened up more, the tannins softened and the subtle mineral laced cherry flavors became even more pronounced. Decant and give it several hours if you can. Drinks well now, but no need to be in a hurry. Sadly my only bottle of this vintage.
