  November 19, 2016 - Lots of Vanilla on the Nose, Dark Cherry and Raspberry on the pallet with hints of tobacco.

  September 5, 2015 - Dark inky purple. Nose of dark berries, spice, tobacco. Rich but medium bodied, little spice, definitely time to drink, dark berries, not overly complex, easy to drink with or without food. Seems like this bottle is peaking or slightly past peak.

  April 15, 2014 - Decanted for 30 minutes prior to tasting. Nice fruity blend with a light pallet feel and light oak finish. Oak notes somewhat dissipated after a 2 hour period, but still noticeable after each sip. No strong alcohol notes at all. Can't say this particular bottle will improve with time in the cellar, but will let my 2nd bottle sit for a while to see. 91 points is definitely a fair score for the price paid.

  January 2, 2014 - Decanted at the restaurant and let it sit until the main course (duck). Almost no nose on this wine. Velvety in the mouth with a medium concentration of dark cherry fruit. Good long finish that was a little compromised by the large amount of alcohol that this wine has. It complemented the evening very well.
