June 3, 2015 - Tropical fruit on the nose, stone fruit, creamy and quite rich. On the palate bright acidity, quite linear and a bit hard, good length and balance, just not overly complex. Drink soon. 88-90

November 13, 2014 - This could easily pass as a Burgundy. Done with finesse. Apples, butter and minerality and well balanced. Light on the oak. A very fine cool climate chard and there should be no sense of sticker shock here.

June 2, 2013 - This was excellent but I expected a bit more from this cool climate chard - Gold, full bodied with a nose of peach, pear, butter, toast and vanilla, good acidity and balance with a touch of heat, interesting, sweet, smooth on the palate with good length, tasty but way too expensive for the quality (89 Points).

February 16, 2013 - Giuseppe Cortese Barbaresco Verticals (Sydney, Australia): Reductive with some toast and lime. Palate has more interest, medium bodied with good restraint and acidity, though the alcohol stands out a little bit on the finish.

February 6, 2013 - Acid and lemon and a little bit of fruit. Not worth the price and not a bottle to buy again.
