May 28, 2022 - Still has a very dark, almost inky purple, color. Lots of black fruit, especially blackberry, with plum and boysenberry. Rich mouth feel and incredibly smooth. Maybe peaking?

December 6, 2020 - Opened about 45 minutes before pouring. Did not decant. A dark, almost blackberry coloring when served. Very Rich mouth feel with lots of plum, and blackberry notes. Incredibly smooth, but might improve with a couple more years.

December 13, 2015 - I thought these were all gone but found one in a cabinet under the bar. I opened it tonight and, as I drank it, I looked at the details on cellar tracker, purchase price, cost, and reviews. The last review seemed a bit high when I first tasted the wine, but was on target after the wine had been opened for two hours. An interesting and long finish bringing to mind ripe plums including their skin.

November 8, 2015 - haven't visited this juice in some time and I surely did miss her! Fruit on the front end but the tannins are restrained. Sad to see this one be my last. A great trip across the pond for some fine juice.

September 18, 2015 - Dark violet color. Fragrant nose. Still lots of fruit, a bit of complexity, but quite harsh tannins. This bottle seemed like it needed more time.

July 19, 2015 - Nice priorat. Easy to drink out of bottle...no decant. Appears to be good value comparing to others.

October 18, 2014 - Nice dark coloring when poured. Subdued black fruits, along with some plum notes. A well structured wine with some grip but the tannins have faded. Smooth and ready to drink.

    July 6, 2014 - Decanted 3+ Hours
Dark red in color with a watery meniscus. Viscosity is high and the slow falling legs hold the color moderately. This is showing moderate+ concentration and bright reflections.
Grenache dominate aromas present with moderate+ intensity. Jammy fruit aromas of strawberry and raspberry with notes of plum, wild berry and fig. Non fruit aromas of spice, mineral, leather, brandy and anise.
The palate is focused and drinking well. Acid is moderate+. The ripe tannins are moderate. This wine has medium+ mid palate density, and a smooth full texture. Flavors of ripe plum, and fig mix with dried strawberry and raspberry upfront then notes of slate, licorice, and leather quickly take over. additional flavors of leaf tobacco, spice and menthol. The finish is long with moderate/moderate+ intensity that lingers on mineral and plum.
should be able to go a few more years, but drinking very well now.

December 27, 2013 - Decanted for 2 hours. The fruit gets more pronounced as it opens more. Can also get a sense of the rocky soil of Priorat in the juice. I noticed this consistency with others I have tasted from that region. For those who have never had wine from Priorat, give this bottling a chance to experiment with. Much more elegant the longer it is open.

November 25, 2013 - Crowd fav. Relatively easy drinking. Somewhat less fruit than earlier bottles but still tastey. Will not age any further so drink 'em if you've got 'em.
