October 30, 2014 - Two more years in the bottle and still no good.
February 16, 2013 - Light and fruity, but almost too much so. Like liquid strawberry jam
February 11, 2013 - Strawberries for days. Extremely smooth with soft tannin structure. Drank with baked salmon. Delicious.
November 13, 2012 - This is the weakest T-Vine wine I've ever had. It has a meaty nose with some bright red fruits. Bitter chocolate to start the mid palate followed by fresh herbs (rosemary and thyme) and finishes with tart cherries. Tannin backbone is solid on this wine so it can age a few more years.
T-Vines tend to be big wines, this one is not though well balanced the transition between the flavors is just not smooth.
Remember you don't drink the label.
April 28, 2012 - Dark fruit, pepper, spice, sweet jammy fruit. Smokey oak.
January 9, 2012 - Sticking with the rating of 93 even though this bottle was a touch more tannic than previous bottles. That being said, this was more like strawberries and cream, much creamier than previous reviews. These wines are still simply delicious, nuff said.
November 19, 2011 - My favorite wine ever, not just my favorite Grenache. Red fruit in abundance, smooth as silk, finish goes on and on. Have a few bottles in the cellar now, it is going to be difficult to be patient with these.
October 13, 2011 - A nice Grenache: although fruit-forward it has a solid backbone of tannins that keeps the fruit in check. Very nice.
July 28, 2011 - loved this wine. beautiful fruit, fruit, fruit. smooth in the mouth, and long, buttery (if that is possible for a red) finish. But it is the lovely fruit that carries this wine. The best grenache I have ever had.
