December 16, 2019 - This was a real treat to try as this is a late release from the cellar of Moet itself. Not easy to get information on this but I understand it was kept on its lees around 13 years which is at the level of DP. Either way, this was in superb condition. There was a faint pop as the Cork was removed and the bubbles were also quite faint, but truly lovely in the mouth. Naturally this was at the red fruit end of the spectrum with soft strawberries. Just a delight. Drank at La Sense.

Pleasantly integrated and mild. Same reductive peppermint as in '85 magnum we had alongside, but on a lower level. Spicy, more complex and more edgy. Very good.

March 19, 2013 - Moët & Chandon (Wijnhandel Peeters @ Rotterdam , the Netherlands.): Out of magnum an incredible powerful complex nose of mushrooms, cacao and soil tones. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and very, very complex, with great length and grip on the finish. A unique wine. The 1990 Grand Vintage collection is a re-releases of older vintages from the Moet & Chandon cellar an exceptional wine and one of the 20th century’s finest vintages.
