Tuesday, August 9, 2011 - The nose showed fresh strawberries and roses with a hint of minerals and vanilla custard. On the palate, it was remarkably fresh yet with formidable body and inner sweetness. Flavors of wild berries and melon led to a refreshing and elegant finish. I found that with time, this wine continued to gain in body and richness. This would be a great bottle for summer sipping and even better paired with BBQ.
