The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. It smells like black pepper and strawberry jam. It tastes like cedar, black pepper and blackberry. The body is full. The wine finishes long.

Agree with the last review, folks drank this too young. It is turning into a much more nuanced Rhone. Even my wife liked this bottle and she doesn't prefer Rhones. Note however, it had lost much of its luster by the second night in an uncorked bottle.

This is a blend of 50 % Syrah, 30 % Grenache (old vines), 10 % Cinsault and 10 % Mourvèdre. The Syrah and Mourvèdre were aged for 18 months in oak barrels (1/3 new, 1/3 second use, 1/3 third use), the Grenache and Cinsault in stainless steel tanks. Decanted: one hour prior to consumption. Medium intense red colored wine with a spicy nose of sour cherries, forest floor, pepper and a hint of anise. On the palate: a not too complex, rather light-bodied wine showing nice blackberry fruit and notes of bitter chocolate, but the tannins are still a bit green and overpowering. Satisfying though slightly drying aftertaste.
Bevredigende, lichtjes uitdrogende afdronk.

Did not live up to the WAc or WA hype. I see rustic in other notes; I would venture it is more-so disjointed with a rather hard tannin edge. Good red bush fruit aromatics, but thin body and short unremarkable finish.

Classic Rhone profile, dusty tannins, earth, a hint of violet. The violet fades fairly quickly after its open. A good wine.

I suspect a lot of people drank this too early. It's delightful now. An interesting full nose and a complex taste with a nice, long pleasant finishy.

Last and best bottle. Should have cellared longer? Smoother. Earthy but not many layers. Medium body, short finish.

More heat than expected. Rustic but expected more depth.

straightforward Vacqueyras blend. Light to medium body, lacking in earthiness.

This is a rich, full-bodied wine that needs a little time to breathe. Got better throughj the evening.

Pretty nice bottle of juice. Good to pop & pour. Has all the obligatory esoteric scents & tastes. Blah, blah, blah...
Just drink & laugh.

Rustic, not that special. Kat was surprised it cost more than $20.
