Light yellow to yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of bread, yellow apples and yellow pears. Flavors of lemon, Granny Smith apples and yellow pears. Bright acidity, full bodied. Drink over the short to medium term.

A nice straw plus color. The nose gave off mostly fruit aromas, apple, quince with a tiny bit of dough. A dry champagne with no hint of residual sugar. Smooth finish and pleasant aftertaste.

N. A strange, somewhat 'natural' nose that is hard to place...not quite 'earthy', not quite 'animal', not quite 'green'...but as it opens, definitely moves into animal territory. P. Toast, some salinity. Didn't really move me either way at first, but by the end of the night I quite preferred it to the richer Menuier blends that really eventually became too weighty. The comparative crispness of this one really became my palate's saving grace.

2/3 pinot noir from ay, 1/3 chardonnay from chouilly and cuis. much more fruited on the nose. not really getting any oak expressed here (ben??). apple fruit and very nice balance. easier acid profile and a husky mouth feel. moderate florals, but rather fruit driven on the palate. nice. easy.

Opened and served immediately. Yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout with tiny and vibrant beading. Nose of yellow pears, lemon and wet stones. Flavors of yellow pears, yellow apples and a bit of cherry on the medium to long finish. Medium to bright acidity, medium body. Drink over the short term.

Nice....lots of apple and a medium-long finish. But not remarkable.

BLowsy, big toasty on the nose, lovely in its own way. Tense. Tasty though.
