Dear CellarTracker members,

It has been just over 2 months since my last CellarTracker newsletter. In this email I want to provide a status update and to announce several exciting new partnerships.

METRICS

Since its launch in 2004, CellarTracker registration has grown to nearly 40,000 members. On an average day, the CellarTracker community adds more than 10,000 bottles to the site for a total of 6.5 million bottles inventoried. The community has also emerged as an abundant source of wine reviews with nearly 700 wines reviewed in a typical day for a total of 406,000 wine reviews, all written by you, real wine enthusiasts. You have created the largest collection of wine reviews in the world, all freely available for the wine-loving community to enjoy. The site is also quickly becoming one of the most heavily visited wine websites with nearly 10 million page views per month from hundreds of thousands of unique users.

NEW PARTNERSHIPS

Going back two years ago, I was honored to enter into a partnership with Stephen Tanzer to automatically integrate reviews from his International Wine Cellar publication for co-subscribers. Steve Tanzer should be congratulated for the way that he has (and continues) to embrace the web, and we share thousands of mutual, happy customers.

I am now excited to announce a number of new partners whose content, effective immediately, is similarly integrated within CellarTracker. (Going forward we have also made changes so that it is much easier for me to integrate new publications.)

Wine Library TV

Gary Vaynerchuk's Wine Library TV is one of the freshest and most exciting developments in the world of wine. Like CellarTracker, Gary is a firm believer in the power of community and the Internet. This fun, funny, irreverent video blog is always an adventure and leaves me chuckling every time I watch. You can't take this or yourself too seriously, but keep an open mind and enjoy Gary's "from the hip and the heart" reviews. Included within CellarTracker for all users are Gary's reviews, scores and links to videos.

For The Love of Port

Roy Hersh's For The Love of Port is one of the world's definitive sources of information on Port, Madeira and other Portuguese wines. If you LOVE Port or Madeira, I am not kidding when I say that you owe it to yourself to check out his website which contains a wealth of information. Paying CellarTracker members automatically see Roy's scores in their cellars, and members of the FTLOP Partnership Program can activate all 1,000 (and growing quickly) of Roy's full reviews.

Burgundy-Report

Bill Nanson's Burgundy-Report is a thoughtful, articulate, passionate source of information on Burgundy wines and estates. Included within CellarTracker for all users are Bill's notes on "in bottle" wines. If you are a Burg lover, you will be glad to visit his free and highly informative site.

That's all for now, although in the future I hope to bring you many more channels of content, all integrated within your CellarTracker cellars. As always, thanks for all of your support and feedback.

Cheers!
Eric LeVine
