Thursday, December 16, 2010 - Tasted non blind. Opened and glass decanted about an hour before serving. Followed over the next two hours. Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Attractive nose of lavendar, currants, black berries and dark plums. The palate was still a bit tight giving way to notes of black berries, black cherries and black currants. Medium acidity, still somewhat firm tannins, full bodied. I'd hold another two years to let the palate flesh out a bit more then have at it. 92?
