Sunday, May 5, 2013 - This is quite youthful in color. On the nose, aromas of cherry and sandalwood are present. On the palate, there are lean dark and red fruits present, a touch of earth, and a medicinal component. A little drying on the finish, a bit austere in character. Enjoyable nonetheless for what it is. I am not sure from where the grapes originate, but I would guess from an edgy place like Brochon or Maranges.
