Monday, October 14, 2013 - Medium yellow. A brief burst of orange oil and silky texture, but then its inner Chablis is revealed. Medium bodied, bitter citrus, and the same swirling mixture of acidity, soil and green herbs on the resoundingly dry finish. Showing great although honestly, looking back at my only other experience with this wine 4 years ago, it does not seem to have changed that much! I can still taste the powdered stone coating my tongue as I write this note. More intensity and palate presence than just about any 2007 Chablis I can recall.
