Sunday, April 27, 2014 - Showed very poorly; not sure if it was an off bottle or simply fell apart with a few more years on it. Nose had a Sharpie scent. Palate started with big dark fruit, but only showed hints of the spices that made it so nice previously--and those were masked by alcohol on the backend. Flashes of vanilla came & went on occasion, but really just felt like a gloppy, dark mess. Strange & unpleasant.
