Sunday, July 27, 2014 - A private lunch (Restaurant De Nederlanden *, Vreeland, NL): Wonderfully spicy and rich nose, good depth, slightly tarry, glossy fruit but with good Sangiovese typicity; juicy, ripe fruit, bright acidity, low tannin, nice weight and even some elegance (the 14.5% ABV does not get in the way); very good length. Extremely well made.
