Friday, December 26, 2008 - Youthfully tight on the nose, but aggressive swirling produced some goodies such as lilac, sea mist, and flint. A classic Preuses palate, with none of the exotic botrytis driven characteristics sometimes prevalent from this vintage. Very feminine Chablis, but contains a quiet self assured presence and strength, with a shining core of minerals. Great lift on the finish. Just like running your fingers over a fine cashmere sweater. Revisit in 5, should be glorious then.
