Saturday, January 9, 2016 - Color was dark garnet. Rich and full bodied with power, not finesse. Big and bold flavors of dark fruit and mocha. Maybe less than when younger, but still balanced and no heat on finish. Went well with spicy southwest food, and probably good with marinated steak or BBQ. Drink soon.
