Saturday, January 17, 2015 - Popped and poured. Deep amber gold in the glass. On the nose, dried strawberry, marmalade, candied lemon, baked apple, crushed rock, honey, baking spice and burnt sugar. On the palate, this is quite round and rich, but sufficient countering acidity. This really lingers on the finish, with tastes of strawberry preserves, citrus zest, baked apple, honey, burnt sugar, mineral and spice. This was a real treat. I quite enjoyed this.
