Thursday, October 4, 2012 - At Støberiet, Holstebro (Denmark)- highly recommended upscale brasserie, if ever you go there. Always nice to drink mature Burgundy - this one at a bargain. This is perhaps not the biggest Burgundy, but the producer is certainly top class. Somewhat transparent, but not quite "see-through"..... The nose initially very tight hinting a bit of damp cellar. After some time in the glass, the classic earthy notes came along. On the palate quite firm tannins for its age, although lacking a bit fruit, I think. Medium long-finish.Some layers of different impressions, but not overly complex. An absolute delight to drink, though.
