Saturday, June 1, 2013 - This is a BIG wine. Deep, dark, rich purple color. Lots of spice and a lot going on.. licorice, blackberry, earthy notes followed by a smooth fruit finish. In my young experience of holding wines then drinking (held this one for 3 yrs), this Turnbull Cab was a most pleasant, enjoyable, surprising experience... one that was shared with good friends, a great meal, good conversation and a lasting memory.
