Friday, February 18, 2011 - Has great balance and all the elements of a potentailly great wine, but right now is quite tannic. Deep ruby and opaque, lots of toasty caramel, plums, cherries, sage and barnyard. Smooth entry, deep fruit and then a big whammo of big tannins, and a long chewy, peppery finish.
