Friday, February 4, 2011 - A big, lush wine that overpowered even a steak but it's still tasty and balanced with deep red fruit flavors and smooth tannins. I can taste the syrah in here and there are some notes of black pepper and spices. Not exactly a wine of "place" but still delicious and very drinkable now.
