90 Points

Sunday, November 9, 2014 - An evening with friends and a lot of wine (Chris and Renee's Home): I can see why this wine is so popular with a segment of people. I liked this wine. It certainly is not shy nor does it strive to be something its not. Purple in color. The nose has black raspberries, vanilla and some charred wood. Lush texture. Sweet black raspberries. Medium tannins. This is fun, lush, in your face and quite delicious. Just short of dessert. A little goes a long way but that is fine.
