Sunday, October 26, 2014 - A baroque style of Riesling. Wonderful Riesling nose of peaches and white flowers; powerful and expressive on the palate with peach flavors, honeydew melon and sweet tropical fruits, a bit of Botrytis, significant amount of residual sugar, good acidity (but it is not very crisp or refreshing), very long finish. Sexy, lush and sweet, but not the most elegant wine. Was not an ideal partner with white fish. Should continue to age well. - 90 points

(In retropsect, the bottle tasted in 2012 was clearly defective.)
