Friday, July 15, 2016 - From a 375, purchased at a restaurant for $24. A hell of a good deal. Firm, dry tannins gave excellent structure, and in conjunction with acidity, this went very well with lamb tagine. Some tar, but mostly floral and herbal. Rose, menthol, mint, licorice, and dusty/sour cherry. Some good depth provided by black fruits on the midpalate. Best immediately upon pour from bottle, as the wine flattened with air. K&L Bistro in Sebastopol nailed this wine list addition.
