Tuesday, May 3, 2011 - A well-made, easy drinker very much in the cote du rhone style. Nose of strawberry and cherry. Medium-weight across the palate with lots of brambly black fruit. Soft, chewy tannins on the finish. Good structure for a wine of this price point. A little more acidity would have been good, but no complaints. I enjoyed this wine and it paired very well with a pork and veal ragu.
