Sunday, March 11, 2012 - Always a winner. Lots of fruit smell when you pop the cork with hint of lavender. I de-canted for 2 hours and it really mellowed. We had lamb chops with a chimi churri sauce. A sort of olive oil, parsley, lemon mix. We also had Swiss chard from the garden with onion and garlic. The wine had the taste of the earth, the smell of southern France and lots of fruit.
