Tuesday, January 8, 2013 - Pretty good now but still young. Popped and poured this showed dense dark fruits, coffee and leather at first. As it opened, more Sangiovese character began to show. Dark cherries, good acidity and tannins started to show. A little earth. It didn't last long but the wine was changing quite bit over the time we drank it. Will be fun following this over the next 8-10 years.
